VerixID tidak menyimpan file Anda — tidak sekarang, tidak pernah. Yang kami catat hanyalah sidik jari matematis dari file tersebut: sebuah angka unik 64 karakter yang hanya bisa dihasilkan dari konten file yang persis sama.

VerixID never stores your file — not now, not ever. What we record is only the mathematical fingerprint of that file: a unique 64-character number that can only be produced from the exact same file content.
Because your file never leaves your device, the risk of sensitive content leaking is zero by design — not by policy, but by architecture.

Web Crypto API di browser menghitung hash dari konten file — menghasilkan 64 karakter hex yang unik. Ubah satu karakter di file, hasilnya berubah total.
The browser's Web Crypto API computes a hash from file content — producing 64 unique hex characters. Change one character in the file, the result changes completely.
Hanya hash (bukan file) yang dikirim ke server VerixID bersama metadata non-sensitif: ukuran file, tipe MIME, timestamp.
Only the hash (not the file) is sent to VerixID servers, along with non-sensitive metadata: file size, MIME type, timestamp.
Server mencatat hash beserta timestamp ke dalam Ledger. Record diberi ID unik dan ditandatangani secara kriptografis oleh server.
The server records the hash with a timestamp into the Ledger. The record is given a unique ID and cryptographically signed by the server.
Anda menerima Record ID dan Ownership Key — dua kunci untuk membuktikan eksistensi dan kepemilikan dokumen kapan saja.
You receive a Record ID and Ownership Key — two keys to prove the existence and ownership of your document at any time.
Ownership Key adalah bukti kepemilikan Anda — 64 karakter yang hanya Anda pegang. VerixID tidak menyimpan key ini. Yang tersimpan di sistem kami hanyalah hash dari key tersebut, sehingga kami dapat memverifikasi tanpa perlu mengetahui nilai aslinya.
The Ownership Key cannot be recovered — by anyone, including the VerixID team. Store it securely: password manager, encrypted storage, or backup physical media.

This key proves that you are the first registrant of that file in our system. However, the Key's ability to be verified by third parties depends on the Verify Page status — explained in the next section.
Halaman Verify (verixid.com/verify?id=...) adalah satu-satunya saluran verifikasi publik di VerixID. Status yang ditampilkan dikendalikan oleh dua hal yang bekerja secara independen:

1. Ketika subscription tidak aktif, Verify Page hanya mengkonfirmasi bahwa nomor record pernah ada di sistem — tanpa detail yang dapat diverifikasi secara independen.
When subscription is inactive, the Verify Page only confirms that the record number once existed in the system — without independently verifiable details.
2. Subscription dapat diperpanjang (hanya) saat Record ID status aktif.
Subscription can be renewed (only) when the Record ID status is active.
Setiap record yang masuk ke Ledger VerixID tidak dapat dihapus selama 10 tahun sejak tanggal registrasi. Ini bukan janji di halaman kebijakan — ini adalah constraint teknis yang tertanam langsung di arsitektur database.

10-year retention applies to all VerixID users — Free and Paid alike. This is not a premium feature. The persistence of evidence in the ledger is not tied to your subscription status.
VerixID beroperasi dalam kerangka UU ITE, PP PSTE, dan UU PDP No. 27 Tahun 2022. Catatan integritas VerixID dapat digunakan sebagai bukti pendukung dalam proses hukum di Indonesia.
Layanan Forensik tersedia untuk semua status record selama record masih berada dalam masa retensi (masih ada di ledger). Akses diberikan melalui jalur hukum yang sah:
